  • Product Description

    It is composed by epoxy resin, scaly micaceous iron oxide, antirust additive and curing agent, etc. Packaging is divided into Component A and Component B. The paint contains scaly pigment with higher pigment volume concentration, after formation of the film, the pigment can be arranged in parallel directional overlapping sequence and similar to structure of “fish scale”, therefore, the film has higher sealing property, good heat resistance and anticorrosive performance and wide compatibility.


    Design Purpose

    It can be used as anticorrosive paint, also as additional coating for zinc-rich primer to increase sealing and anticorrosive properties. It is applicable to ship, container, bridge, gas chamber, harbor machinery, various steel structures and cement, etc.

    Surface treatment

    *Surface coated withworkshop primer need second rust removal to reach Class St3 of Swedish de-rusting standard;

    *White rust, grease and other dirt on the paintwork coated with zinc-rich primer, with prolonged air exposure, shall be removed, chalked paintwork shall be polished and the dust shall be cleared away.


    Construction condition

    Substrate temperature shall be more than dew point above 3℃, relative humidity shall be less than 85%;

    If the substrate temperature is lower than 5℃, epoxy and curing agent stop reaction, construction can’t be undertaken.


    Prior primer

    Zinc-rich epoxy primer, iron red epoxy Workshop primer, ethylene phosphating primer, inorganic zinc-rich primer, etc.

     

    Finishing paint

    Epoxy finish, chlorinated rubber finish, acrylic acid finish, polyurethane finish, acrylic polyurethane finish, epoxy bituminous mastic coating, etc.

    Packing Specification

    Container of 20 liters can load Component A of 24kg; container of 5 liters can load Component B of 4kg.

    Considerations

    If the maximum coating interval is exceeded, coating shall be conducted after the preceding paint surface is polished roughly to ensure the adhesion between layers.

    Safety guide

    Avoid inhaling solvent vapors and painting mist for long term, skin and eye may not contact with the product.

    Forced ventilation shall be provided when applying the paint in confined spaces or stagnant air, although in good ventilation, protection tools shall be worn.
